Tell Us Who You Are!

As an organization we strive to create equal-opportunity access as well as artistic excellence in our approach to programming.  We do our best to seek out and offer programming spots not only to established professionals, but also to underrepresented and emerging creators in speculative and experimental music. However, we know our own networks are limited, and we will never know about everyone who is making cool things.

We want to know about you!! If you are someone who would like to pursue further opportunities in speculative and experimental music (including but not limited to new chamber music, noise, free improvisation, underground electronic sounds,  DIY instrument-building, Afro-futurism, modal music, anything you can dream), and/or be a part of our community of creative musical thinkers and makers, please write to us and send us samples of your work.

We especially encourage womxn, LGBTQIA+, Black, Indigenous, and other racialized folx, and artists living with chronic illness and/or disabilities to send us your work! We also encourage those in positions of privilege, and greater visibility/audibility in music, to send us work by artists you think are deserving of more attention.

We also love meeting new arts administrators and cultural producers.  If you run a festival or series and want to network, or chat with us about how we can better support artists and musicians in Canada and beyond, please reach out!

Note we are currently operating at reduced capacity with the pressures of a global pandemic.  Email response times will be delayed.  Rest assured we read everything eventually, and will get back to you :)

Please also note we cannot guarantee programming spots to everyone who sends work to us.  Our aim is to broaden our knowledge of underground and above-ground creators as much as possible, supporting long-term public audibility, and greater financial access, for artists who are passionate about the strange outerverses of the musical galaxy.
