A Musicircus Event: An Evening of Musicians, Poets, Artists, Actors, and Dancers 

Join us for our 40th Anniversary Event, a dynamic celebration of our artist community and four decades of creativity.

Inspired by John Cage's revolutionary Musicircus (1967), this event brings together musicians, dancers, visual artists, poets, film makers and more to create a kaleidoscope of simultaneous performances.

Location: cSPACE Marda Loop, Calgary

Time: 7:00-9:30 pm

What to Expect:

No two experiences will be the same! Performers are given complete artistic freedom to express themselves in their preferred style—whether it's live painting, dance, improvisational poetry, or music from past and present repertoires. Wander through the event and let the creativity surround you. 

Reception & Drinks:

Enjoy a reception with drinks available for purchase as you immerse yourself in the vibrant artistic atmosphere.

This immersive, interdisciplinary event is our way of honoring the incredible artists who have shaped our journey over the past 40 years. The event will also feature a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle to support our artistic community. Come and celebrate the power of art to inspire and connect!

Are you a musician, dancer, visual artist, poet, or creative of any kind? We invite you to be part of our 40th Anniversary Event, a dynamic celebration of our artist community and four decades of creativity.

Inspired by John Cage's Musicircus (1967), this unique event will feature simultaneous performances where artists are free to express themselves in any style or medium.

What You’ll Receive:

• A chance to showcase your talent in a collaborative, interdisciplinary setting.

• Free admission to the event.

Important Note: Performances must use acoustic instruments only or must be able to manage small amplification on their own —no PA will be provided.
